The Meaning Behind Kaw Kaw Maison

Our name is a playful nod to our Algerian roots and our love for chocolate & nuts.

Kaw Kaw sounds like cacao, the raw essence of chocolate, but in Algerian dialect, it also means “nuts”—a key ingredient in all our chocolate creations.

Maison, meaning “house” in French, ties it all together, representing our dedication to crafting the perfect blend of chocolate and nuts.

Simply put, Kaw Kaw Maison is the house of indulgent, nutty chocolate delights.

Meet our Founder

Sarah Belamria

Born in Algeria and raised in Spain, Sarah developed a love for the art of chocolate-making at a young age. From the time she was a child, she spent countless hours experimenting with different ingredients and techniques, always striving to create the perfect chocolate.

​After getting married,  Sarah moved to the United States and settled in Atlanta. It wasn't long before she realized that the American market lacked the type of high-quality, artisanal chocolate she had grown up with in Spain.

Determined to bring her passion for chocolate to a new audience,  Sarah founded Kaw Kaw Maison, a company dedicated to crafting the finest, most decadent chocolates imaginable.

Using only the freshest ingredients and time-honored techniques, Sarah has quickly become a leading chocolatier in the Atlanta area.
